WHAT IS FC DAVIS U?

FC Davis U is a year round community college program that was designed to meet the needs of the modern day two year student athlete. The program was built to bridge the gap for local players who are under-recruited, did not find the right colligate fit, or did not qualify for NCAA and NAIA competiion.

Every year we aim to recruit the most talented local high school graduates and work tirelessly to provide a professional athletic and academic enviornement that provides them onfield training needed to reach a four year school, while

WHERE DOES THE TEAM PLAY?

In the fall, FC Davis U men's and women's players will compete for Woodland Community College in the CCCAA. The season will being in August and end in November or early December. In the spring, FC Davis U men's players will compete on our UPSL and NPSL teams. This season will begin in mid January and conclude in July.

WHAT DOES A SEASON LOOK LIKE?

Every year we recruit the top graduating high school talent to develop players for four year schools on the field while gaining a four year degree off the field.

HOW DO PLAYERS GET RECRUITED?

To evaluate and recruit top high school talent, FC Davis will launch College Development Program (CDP) in spring of 2022. FC Davis CPD brings together the top twenty seniors in high school to play from our hub clubs for once a month training. There will also be a select number of spots reserved for student-athletes in Sacramento who wish to take advantage of the FC Davis U platform.

WHAT ARE THE PROGRAM ACADEMIC REQUIREMENTS?

Academically, FC Davis U players will attend Woodland Community College and use TAG and ADT admission programs to gain guaranteed and priority entry to a UC or CSU. With the program's high academic standards and required internship hours, a player's education will reach beyond a traditional classroom setting, providing student-athletes a professional foundation to build upon during their time in college.
