Ever since moving back to the US from Brazil, soccer has been a moving force in my life. From my time spent on the DHS soccer team to becoming Regional Commissioner of Davis AYSO, I've experienced first hand the positive impact the game can have on members of our local community. Alongside my wife Tondi and two amazing daughters Anla and Leyla, I look forward to bringing the FC Davis Women's Team to life while growing an organization all players and fans of our town can be a part of.

My name is Tondi Bolkan and grew up playing soccer since age 10.  By senior year of high school, I discontinued playing because my teammates saw their growth spurts shoot up, whilst mine stayed put at a commanding height of 4'11".  Nevertheless, that did not stop me from taking my team and leadership skills to my career and home life.  I am married to a football fanatic and loving husband, Cem Bolkan.  I am raising two strong, independent young ladies, Anla and Leyla, who are already ready to take on the world.  I am also a Winemaker for Francis Ford Coppola Winery, overseeing production from grape to bottle.  The formation of this FC Davis Women's team is coming at a pivotal point in history for women's professional sports.  All I ask is to be a part of it and not miss out!

Like my wife, Robin, I've been involved in soccer since the 70's when I was scurrying around  the AYSO fields with all my buddies. After moving to Davis in 2003 we continued the soccer tradition with our two daughters, Clare and Lily, from AYSO to club to high school. Lily's heading off next fall to play D1 soccer for Colorado College. The FC Davis Women's Team is sure to create many exciting opportunities and memories for athletes and fans alike. We're so excited to kick off the inaugural season!

My name is Kara Heckler and ever since meeting my loving and ever-thinking husband Adam 14 years ago, soccer has been a staple in my life. While the game brings so much joy to thousands of female players in our local community, it was a surprise we never had a high level women's team we could call our own. With FC Davis Women, we don't have to wonder anymore. I could not be more excited to see a team from Davis hit the field for the first time while watching players from our younger generation have a team they can aspire to be on.

My name is Adam Lewin. Some people call me the Soccer Santa. I try to use the game of soccer as a platform to enhance people's lives. If you stop by any pitch around Davis, there's a good chance I'll be there. I could not be more excited to help bring this critically important project to life.  Joga Bonito!
