Every year, FC Davis honors local standout student-athletes who exemplified excellence during their high school soccer season. From top goal keepers to top scorers, we compile the best our area has to offer on one team for area-wide recognition. After 7 days of voting and more than 11,000 ballots cast, the final tallies and in for our 2023 Boys High School All-Area award winners.
The Yolo Federal Credit Union 2023 All-Area 1st team is stacked full of Davis High School and Vacaville High School players. Davis' undefeated and title winning season ranks among the best in local area history. With four players selected to the All-Area team, the Blue Devils lead the way for the 2023 award season. Vacaville had an equally as impressive year, sweeping through their league with an undefeated record before bowing out in the playoffs. The Bulldogs have three players selected to the 2023 All-Area team, including 2022 All-Area Player of the Year winner Nathan Beltran.
The Yolo Federal Credit Union 2023 All-Area 2nd team offers a host of youthful talent. Included in the group were outstanding performers Cooper Ngo (So.) and Elio Cordova (Fr.) from Dixon High School alongside Johan Olmedo (Fr.) from Woodland High School. Included on the second team is standout keeper Zach Rabold (Sr.) from Wood High School.
The 2023 High School All-Area Boys Player of the year will be announced on Friday.
