Every year, FC Davis honors local standout student-athletes who exemplified excellence during their high school soccer season. From top goal keepers to top scorers, we compile the best our area has to offer on one team for area-wide recognition. After 7 days of voting and more than 13,500 ballots cast, the final tallies and in for our 2023 Girls High School All-Area award winners.
After equally fantastic seasons, the Yolo Federal Credit Union 2023 All-Area 1st team is stacked full Davis High School, Pioneer High School, and Vacaville High School players. Each school garnered three selections on our first team awards. With a high octane offense, Pioneer High School leads the front line with Kayla Canchola (So.) and 2022 All-Area Player of the Year Galiela Bolivar (Jr.). Davis High School standout Una Keller (Sr.) holds down the middle of the field and her teammate, Reese Quick (Sr.), anchors the back line.
The Yolo Federal Credit Union 2023 All-Area 2nd team is equally impressive and includes exceptional players Miya Alamares (So.) from Davis High School and Jayda Marrow (Jr.) from Pioneer High School. Accompanying the Davis High and Pioneer High standouts are Woodland High stars Brooklyn Johnson (So.) and Ximena Hinojosa (Jr.).
The 2023 High School All-Area Girls Player of the year will be announced on Friday.
