On Saturday night, the Lions will host their first NPSL match since July 6th 2019.
Due to current COVID guidelines, the game will be CLOSED DOOR. State and county guidelines are scheduled to ease for FC Davis events on June 15, when fans will be allowed to return to matches at Playfields.
Davis will host Oakland at 7:00pm for their first meeting since the Lions handed the Stompers a 2-0 loss in 2019.
After coming off a thrilling opening night 2-1 victory over Napa Valley 1839, the Lions will look to secure another three points when the men from the Bay Area visit down.
Oakland is coming off a memorable opening night match of their own. After being down 0-1 to Sacramento Gold, the Stompers had a player sent off, which put the match into a tailspin. The game finished 1-6.
Davis will look to keep pace at the top of the table on Saturday night. The game will be streamed live for fans to take in the action.
The Lion’s next home match of 2021 will take place on June 26th, when the Sacramento Gold visit town for the Causeway Clasico at 7:00pm.
